Last night, we went to Holy Frijoles for Emily’s happy hour. Taquitos and beer. Yummy but greasy.

Afterwards, I went to Atomic Books to give myself another 15 minutes to sober up before driving home. I looked for the book Johnny recommended by Bruce Chatwin, but apparently it is not deviant enough to be in stock at Atomic.

I settled on Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman. Then I saw this pin in a bowl at the register and couldn’t resist it:

Got home, worked on the new web site a bit, then read “How to Talk to Girls at Parties”, which was pretty funny. Then we watched 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later. Big mistake. It sucked. Just a lot of blood and raging zombies and not much of a plot. The night vision scene was the worst.

Hunger pangs. Dire need for coffee. Coffee sans oatmeal.
